Procedures for the Election of Board of Directors
In accordance with Texas Finance Code §122.053(b), the membership of the credit union shall elect
the board of directors (1) at an annual membership meeting, (2) from the membership, and
(3) in the manner provided by the bylaws. The election process will be conducted in compliance with
credit union bylaws and board election rules.
Director Positions
The director positions and corresponding terms of office to be filled by election at the 2027
Annual Membership Meeting are as follows:
Board of Directors
• Three (3) positions, each for a three-year term (2027-2030)
• One (1) position to fill an unexpired term ending in 2028
Nominations
The Nominating Committee, appointed by the Chair of the Board, will select at least one qualified
candidate for each open director position. Members seeking consideration for nom-ination must
submit a current professional résumé along with a completed and signed Official Volunteer
Application and Agreement to Serve.
The application form may be obtained by contacting the Credit Union’s Executive Office, located at
2023 Gold Canyon Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78232, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00
a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All application materials must be received no later than Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
In accordance with the Credit Union’s bylaws, nominations will not be accepted from the floor during the Annual Membership Meeting.
The Secretary of the Board will announce the Nominating Committee’s selected candidates no later than Monday, October 5, 2026. This announcement will also include detailed instructions for members who wish to qualify as candidates through the petition process.
Firstmark Credit Union will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, April 6, 2027. The time and location of the meeting will be provided at least 30 days prior to the event.
