Firstmark Credit Union is committed to providing resources to educators in our community. Each year, Firstmark produces over 60,000 academic planners to support teachers at public and private schools across San Antonio and the surrounding area.
Firstmark Credit Union sponsors KSAT 12’s Educator of the Month, a competition where one K-12 teacher is selected each month throughout the duration of the contest. Firstmark awards the winning recipients with a $500 VISA® gift card and they get the opportunity to tell their story to the viewers of Good Morning San Antonio (GMSA).

In partnership with San Antonio Leaders & Teachers (SALT) and CAST Schools Network, Firstmark Credit Union supports educators at Teacher Fest in July each year, which is an event where vendors supply them with coupons, discounts, swag, and much more!

National Teacher Appreciation Week is held during the first full week of May to celebrate educators who have worked tirelessly to educate and inspire students – at Firstmark, their annual efforts are honored throughout the entire month of May!
Showing appreciation throughout the month of May, Firstmark delivers goodie bags to teachers at school districts, partners with Santikos Entertainment to provide teachers with movie ticket packages, gives thanks to teachers in recognition of their hard work, and much more!
Firstmark Credit Union, with support from Spurs Sports & Entertainment, hosts a classroom supply drive for teachers in our community each year before school starts!
