If social distancing and working from home have you longing to do something more, you’re not alone. Here are a few ideas for how you can help.

  • Donate Clothes to “Northside Threads”
Clean out your closets and donate gently used clothing to Northside Threads Clothing Closet, a clothing closet that helps students enrolled in Northside ISD schools. Donations are accepted Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 8 a.m. and noon at the Northside Family Engagement Center, 5223 Blessing Street (78228).
  • Donate Blood
Blood and plasma donations are needed at the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center. Your donation can help save a life. It’s easy to donate. Simply schedule an appointment today.
  • Foster a Pet
Animal Care Services and San Antonio Pets Alive are in need of foster homes and adopters. Cuddle up with a furry companion while social distancing at home.
