Firstmark Celebrates Teachers | A Look Back
For Teacher Appreciation Week, we teamed up with our friends at Santikos Entertainment to celebrate the "reel stars" in the classroom. To show our appreciation for everything teachers do, Firstmark delivered 200 movie tickets to 20 schools across the city and distributed 1,500 vouchers for complimentary popcorn and discounted bowling passes to the schools nearest a financial center.

Teachers also had a chance to win one of five private screenings for a party of 25 on our Facebook page. Our social media followers nominated their favorite teachers and five winners were randomly drawn and announced on Friday, May 6.

Who is eligible?
Any active and certified teacher employed by an accredited Pre-K-12 public, private, charter, or parochial school in the state of Texas.
A school ID/badge, pay stub from your employer/ISD, or another form of verification, will need to be presented at the time of pick up.

I’m a pre-school, day care, home-school teacher, or retired teacher. Am I eligible for this offer?
If you have been certified by the state of Texas for Pre-K–12 grades and hold an active Department of Education number, you are eligible. Otherwise, you do not meet the requirements for this event.
We appreciate all retired teachers and home school teachers. While this event is only open to active teachers, including substitutes, we encourage you to visit your nearest Firstmark Credit Union financial center to get a FREE Academic Planner as a token of our appreciation for your service and dedication.
