You can be enrolled and making your first payment in less than five minutes! Just follow the few simple steps outlined below and you’ll be ready to go in no time.

You’ll have more time to do the things you want when you don’t have to remember to buy stamps, fill out your bills by hand and put them in the mailbox on the right date. With ePayment, simply set up your bills one time and then paying them each month is a breeze.

GET AN INTRODUCTORY PERIOD AT NO CHARGE!
Members trying ePayment for the first time, will receive the first three, consecutive months at no charge. Sign up today and give this new service a try. Your three month introductory period begins when you sign on.

ePAYMENT PRICING
The ePayment monthly charge starts out at $4.95 per month. Members can reduce the monthly fee or even pay no charge at all by using certain Firstmark Credit Union products and services. Review the chart below to see which of the Credit Union’s products allow you to save or waive the ePayment fee. The fee is deducted on the 10th day of the following month (or next business day in the event of a holiday or weekend).

NOTE: Rates and terms are subject to change. $4.95 is the maximum eligible discount that will be allowed in order to receive ePayment services at No Charge. Only one Firstmark Credit Union account per member number is eligible to receive ePayment services for No Charge. You must have a Firstmark Credit Union checking account to qualify for the use of Bill Pay services. You may not use a Savings, Money Market Checking, Kid$Club, or Axess Teen account with Bill Payment. Eligible discounts are subject to additional qualifications.

LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS

  • You must have a password for eDirect in order to access ePayment Online Bill Pay.
  • Sign on to eDirect Online Banking at https://mcw.sateacherscu.org/cgi-bin/mcw000.cgi?MCWSTART
  • Select the purple ePayment Online Bill Pay button - found on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Payments can be set up for a one-time payment, recurring payment, you can schedule the payment for the future or to pay now.
  • Be sure to look at the number of days needed to make the payment anywhere from 2 days to 8 days. The date you choose to make the payment is the date the money will be withdrawn from your account NOT the day the payment will be credited. If you have a payment due on the 10th of the month and it indicates "5" days, you must schedule it for the 5th of the month in order for the payment to be guaranteed.
  • When scheduling your payment for "now", you must have the money in the account, overdraft protection and member privilege will not work for same day payment. They will work if available for future payments.
  • The first thing you want to do is set up your payees
    1. Click "payments" tab
    2. Click "payees" tab - you will have two options – pick from a list of payees or add your own payees (we recommend that you add your own payees to make sure you are sending your money to the correct payment center)
    3. You will need the following information for each payee (bill you want paid)
      1. Name of company/person
      2. Nickname that you want to use to remember what bill is for
      3. Address including city, state, zip code & phone number
      4. Name on account of the bill you are paying
      5. Account number of the bill you want to pay
  • The information that you provide will be verified. Some companies are already in our bill pay system and are quickly confirmed, others may take longer to confirm.
  • Once your payees have been set up, you can schedule your payments, either by clicking on single payment or multiple payments.
  • If you make a payment for the same day and press submit, you CANNOT stop that payment from being processed. If you schedule a future payment and decide to change it, you can change it up until the day you scheduled it for payment.

ACCESS PROBLEMS

There is a large database of FAQs located within the ePayment Online Bill Pay system. You can find a majority of answers by clicking the "Help" button located in the upper right-hand side of the ePayment Online Bill Pay screen.

Problem - When I try to access ePayment, I get an error that reads "Single Sign-On Error (SSO Error)" or "Whisper Error - Error encountered with Bill Payment."

Solution
This error is experienced when an account has been deactivated due to inactivity. Please call the Credit Union at (210) 342-8484 or (800) 683-1211.

Problem - I am unable to access ePayment Online Bill Pay.
If you have a problem accessing ePayment Online Bill Pay, you may have software on you computer that doesn't allow pop-up windows or blocks pop-up windows.

Solution
Turn off the "Pop-Up Blocker" option on their computer, or configure their Pop-Up Blocker to allow Pop-Ups from mcw.sateacherscu.org. This should solve the issue. If you are still experiencing problems, please call (800) 235-8291.

Problem - I get the message "The bill payment system is currently unavailable" and "The system is currently unavailable. Please try again later".
If you were previously logged into ePayment Online Bill Pay and exited the system incorrectly without using the "exit" buttons, you may receive this message.

Solution
Wait 15 minutes to allow the system to reset your account. This should solve the issue. If you are still experiencing problems, please call (800) 235-8291.
